Isaias is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and doctoral candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in systemic leadership and social entrepreneurship. Holding a master’s degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in Addiction and Recovery, he integrates over three decades of mentorship into his clinical and pedagogical work. As a professor at the Peter J. Pitchess Detention Center, he facilitates rehabilitative education for incarcerated youth, addressing structural inequities faced by historically marginalized populations.

A staunch advocate for racial and gender equity, Isaias applies a feminist, trauma-informed lens to his work with survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking, and systemic exploitation. He also champions the often-silenced voices of male survivors of sexual abuse, offering compassionate, justice-centered care. As a certified counselor and expert witness, he conducts forensic mental health evaluations across legal contexts, including immigration, re-entry, probation, and criminal court.
